The crate came in on a Tuesday, mixed in with a pallet of blanks we had ordered from a supplier in Ohio. Forty boxes, no invoice, no packing slip, no name on the shipping label. We assumed a warehouse mix-up and set them aside for a week, waiting for someone to call and ask for them back. Nobody did.

When we finally opened one, we found shirts. Good ones, heavyweight cotton, printed well. They commemorated title matches we had never heard of, at arenas that do not appear in any directory we could find, featuring wrestlers whose names return nothing at all. Some of the copyright dates on the neck tags are years that have not happened yet.

We made calls. We asked around. A man who has worked wrestling merchandise since 1984 looked at four of them and said he had never seen any of it, then asked to keep one. That is where the investigation ended and the store began.

So here is what we actually do. Coliseum Tees makes shirts for matches that never happened, for wrestlers who never wrestled, for events nobody in the world attended. The Weekly Wrestling News line takes the checkout-aisle tabloid format and points it at the squared circle. Parts Unknown covers the ones who showed up billed from nowhere and left without a forwarding address.

None of it is real. That is the point.

If you grew up in the nineties watching a masked man get counted out and disappear down the aisle, you already understand the appeal. Wrestling in that era was built on a straight face and a wild story, and it asked you to meet it halfway. These shirts ask the same thing. Wear one and somebody will eventually ask which event it was from. What you tell them is up to you.
